It's been posted around that you can now easily take screen shots of your iPod touch or iPhone screen with the 2.0 software. Just hold down the home button and press the power. Your screen will flash white and save a screen shot in your photo album under "Saved Photos". Oddly enough, for the iPod touch, when you connect to sync, iPhoto launches and mounts your iPod as a camera to import your saved photos. It makes sense... the iPhone has a camera, so why not mount it as one? Sure, but the iPod... it's kind of funny.

The thing that is still a little annoying, though, is iTunes mounts it as an iPod... iPhoto mounts it as a camera... yet I still don't have a natural way to mount my 16 Gig storage device as a USB drive?!? Why can't we load up the thing with files when on other iPods you can? Now that the app store is in full gear, imagine apps that could access a folder with your own documents. Currently, the apps exist in their own space, unable to work with files outside of their own folder structure. If they could access another folder, imagine how much more powerful they could become... eBook readers, office suites, etc. Also, this would solve the whole cut and paste issue. Treat the clipboard as a hidden file, ".clipboard", in the root of the folder, and you can share text that was copied in one app, and paste into another.
One can dream...
